HINTS FOR PROFILE MAKERS

See Transforming via the ICC PCS for details on the derivation and use of D50 adapted data, chromatic adaptation matrix and measurement corrections.

The chromaticities of the primaries for DCI P3 yield negative tristimulus values when chromatically adapted to the D50 PCS. Negative XYZ values are technically not permitted by the v4 ICC specification, but can in practice be used in most CMMs without problems.
