Medical Imaging: Best practice papers for colour in DICOM

Problem statement

The current DICOM framework could provide support for accurate colour if used correctly but in many (most) cases colour metadata (ICC profiles and other metadata) is ignored

Proposal

Develop guidelines for each imaging modality and where possible a set of tests that can be used to check conformance [IHE, ADA]
