Medical Imaging: Whole Slide Imaging

One reason for differences in whole slide imaging is the lack of a suitable calibration process which means that the same slide can look very different from system to system

FDA guidance on WSI devices The FDA published this guidance for Whole Slide Imaging Systems on April 20, 2016, with many MIWG comments adopted. Section IV(B)(1)(b), Test Methods points users to the ICC web site for references on the subject of color reproducibility. While there are many useful references on the web site, some areas are not covered completely and the ICC is considering providing additional details and suggestions. If there are any areas where you think additional information could be useful please contact Craig Revie or Phil Green.
