Profile viewing and testing
Profile viewing and testing resources include:
- The Probe Profile - identifies which rendering intent in a profile has been used
- ICC Profile Inspector - opens an ICC profiles and makes the contents readable
- iccDEV - a public code library for creating, parsing and applying ICC profiles
- Profile Dump - an example utility built using iccDEV that reads profiles and checks them for conformance

- Colour encoding profiles - for RGB and XYZ encodings
- Test profiles - to evaluate elements of the workflow
- Profile Registry - profiles corresponding to registered characterization data sets

ICC Registries
ICC provides freely accessible repositories for several different types of resource:
- ICC Characterization Data Registry - sets of standard characterization data for RGB and CMYK data
- ICC Signature Registry - registered signatures for manufacturers, devices, CMMs and private tags
- ICC Profile Registry - profiles corresponding to registered characterization data sets
