Security: Malformed: Icc Eicar

An ICC profile contains a 128-byte header, a tag table and a sequence of tag elements. The tag table should define a contiguous sequence of unique tag elements, with no gaps between the last byte of any tag data element referenced from the tag table (inclusive of any necessary additional pad bytes required to reach a four-byte boundary) and the byte offset of the following tag element, or the end of the file. There should be no gaps in the byte sequence which could expose a potential vulnerability.

The profile icc-eicar.icc contains (harmless) test malware.

This profile can be used to test that a CMM or application can identify unwanted bytes in a profile, such as malware, and either ignore the additional bytes or reject the profile as appropriate.
